GDT 4/18/26: Braves @ Phillies - Battle of the Aces

Painter vs. Holmes probably not the most favorable matchup for us, but the Braves have done exactly what they needed to do these first two games.
 
From the Mets board about Dom:

“I am happy for dom smith but Jesus fuck, how did he become fucking ty Cobb by putting on that uniform? They are missing strider and schwellenbach and still have four ace like pitchers right now. My irrational hatred for the braves is becoming more irrational with each game qe fall behind. Ugggg”
 
I know we all had legit concerns and we expressed em, especially after both SS and Waldrep went down but what the team has done these first 3 weeks have been amazing.

And still will/should be getting Spencer, Schwelly and Waldrep back at some point.
 
Also - I am happy for Vodnik, but really pissed we gave up on him. I remember when he first got into our farm and Hank Aaron said he was going to be special one day. Because of that he was always my favorite prospect- and now he’s throwing 98 and getting saves in Colorado…-and we have fat Suarez getting saves here…. 😂😂
