GDT 4/28/26: Braves vs Tigers - Harris Back In CF

Hopefully we can be very patient at the plate and work the counts and get to their bullpen as quickly as possible. We are gonna need some runs tonight.

Also- tonight is the night for Yaz’s first homer

So, Strider is confirmed to return this weekend. Murphy is also likely back around the same time. Kim has started his rehab assignment and is expected back in about three weeks. Waldrep is set to begin throwing and could return by mid-June. Love it.

Those are all great pieces, but SS#2 is total gamechanger. Really need a positive step from him to send optimism off the charts

He has a follow up appointment in early May, I believe. If it goes well, he's supposed to begin throwing. So, we'd likely look at mid-July or early August, if all goes well.

Waldrep is a game changer too man…. If he can be what he was becoming…. Well, that would be good. We need one of these guys to come all the way back- relying on injured pitchers to return to pre-injury form isn’t exactly a winning strategy though…

All that with the best start possible for the team. Things are looking up.

Yeah, if he still has his newfound control he got last season

For Strider the only thing that really matters is the 4 seamer.

4/21 it was 95.9 mph with 18.4" of rise.

4/26 it was 95.2 mph with 16.9" of rise.

I don't think he can be an impact arm with the heater from the 26th.

I get Ozzie has been good, but a smart team like the tigers ain't letting Olson see anything with LH Ozzie on deck. Can't do that, WW
