GDT 4/28/26: Braves vs Tigers - Harris Back In CF

We're 30 games in. Baldwin has caught 21 games and been the DH for 9. I'd like him to a get a full off day soon, maybe in the next two days against tough lefties. Just don't want to wear him down over the course of the season.
 
They'll likely DH Baldwin quite a bit moving forward. He's been great but Murphy is so much better behind the plate. And he's as fresh as a ball player can be.

Dom is doing what he's been doing for awhile now, which is bash RHP. As long as he is only seeing RHP, he's gonna eat.

I'll be in attendance for the games vs. the Brewers on 6/19 and 6/21. The Mrs. will be entertained enough for me to sneak away on the first one as one of her best friends will be attending with us. They'll never know I'm gone until it's time to buy something from the concession stand.

by bday is the 17th

might try and get the wife to drive over for that weekend series... we have done the omni before with balcony view.. expensive but was freaking a blast
 
Man - Those posts bitching about AA this offseason/ST look great!

But the guy can put data into excel/BI models and return results!

AA is an elite GM - We are lucky to have him. If not for absurd injury luck the last three years we may even have another world series ring.
 
Dubon has been a huge pickup and should no doubt get a ton of playing time in the OF and spelling guys on the INF this year. Extend that guy for a couple more years if it's not to bad.

We have had terrible injury luck the last two seasons. But, AA was hot ass last year. He took a chance on resetting the luxury tax in the middle of a contention window, hoping we’d be competitive enough while our stars healed, and it blew up in his face. I think it’s fair to criticize him for 2025, even if he couldn’t have prevented all of it.
