Sean Murphy Back To The Injured List

Exactly why Azocar should’ve been the one to go and kept Heim. Heim isn’t good, but he’s a serviceable backup at a position you have almost no depth at now. Azocar is useless. Sandy Leon is not a serviceable back up.

I woiuldnt sweat it too much..probably get one or two starts at max..

just pray baldwin stays healthy
 
I do hope this means we can get Dom in the DH spot for the next week or so.

Baldwin C

Olson 1B
Riley 3B
Harris CF
DH Smith
Yaz RF/LF
Kim SS
 
Sorta glossed over the last part. Langeliers is every bit as good as Olson this season, and he isn't eligible for arbitration till 2027

24/25/26 in 170 games he is a 2.6 win catcher and with Fwar. A catcher gets. Two wins for just sitting behind the plate... methhead is straight trash and on the wrong side of 30..

He was worth 2.4 WAR last year in 94 games. That’s a 4.1 WAR pace over 162. He was worth 4 WAR in 108 games in 2023.

Why don’t you get your head out of your ass and stop being a hater.

Team ERA was substantially better with Murphy last season. He's being replaced with a guy in the Mexican league.

A guy in the Mexican league who had a long successful MLB career as a very good defender. He’s an absolute zero on offense but he should be very seasoned calling games

Still a big gap from Murphy but he should at least be solid on D

I'm not sweating losing a guy who hits below 200 with a 30% K rate. Because of a Catchers ERA. The few games. That the backup catcher is going to catch. Can be called from the dugout.
