119th Congress or Red Wave In Adult Land

Speaking of good old nancy - Was watching a clip of her in her early years on the house floor. Thank God the left doesn't have another version of huer on the horizon. What a force of nature.

As long as you believe America is a country before an economic area this is the only reasonable take of Trumps second term. This is coming from someone that absolutely despised the job Trump did the first time.

LOL - This is hysterical to think it means anything. What you're seeing is two factions of florida politics fighting each other.

Of course you don't care - Doesn't mean that this doesn't actually impact America and a subset of Americans. And this is jsut one concession with one country - In one segment. Chinese manufaturing can be replaced and spread around the world.

I mostly have no issues with 'women of today'. There is a subset that to me is undateable but I've always been of the belief that women are maleable in their ideology and just want a strong man to guide/center them. I just don't think men are meant to settle at 19/20/21/etc.... That doesn't...

Trump and team should have done a better job of communication that tariffs were just a part of the issue that needed to be corrected globally to ensure more balanced trade. These types of concessions will happen with all countries but unique to each sector.

Most people understand something is wrong here. Trump should force the issue and have the American people make it the #1 issue for the mid terms.

I don't think young men are doomed for loneliness - Lots of women out there that choose to not wife up early to not be lonely with for nights at a time. Even in older times there were plenty of single women to guide younger men into manhood. Large age gaps were always the norm historically...

But slavery and the civil war were over. Therefore, the 5th amendment should have applied. But of course it didn't becuase it was always intended for US citizens and that is how the majority of people interpret the bill of rights. The freed slaves needed to be protected against abuses that...

If the due process provisions of the 5th amendment applied to all then what was the point of adding the states section of it to the 14th? Why not have another amendment ensuring that the states could not deprive people of their right to religion?

Late teens and early 20's men should not be thinking about finding a long term woman. All about adventure and building your professional career/business. When you're late 20's early 30's then you go find your mate. I got 'wifed up' at 19 with a girl I met in college. She left when I was 25...

It was a states rights issue as so many things since the beginning of the union. Since the slaves were not citizens at that point it had to be reaffirmed that they were also given due process rights since the bill of rights was primarily a document that enshrined rights for US citizens.

The bill of rights was principally intended to refer to US citizens - Only some interpretations have extended it to be further. The 14th amendment therefore was specifically crafted to ensure that freed slaves weren't excluded from key protections until citizenship could be obtained. If the...

imagine supporting such a losing message that one party can flood the country in an unprecedented manner with illegals but the other has to fight to pass legislation to undo it. That my friends is why the “principals” crowd is a joke.

Why should we have to when the due process you hold dear to wasn’t meant to be for illegals flooding the country due to a political party that hates the country. You can continue to pretend it didn’t specifically have to do with slaves.
