Do you not recognize there’s perhaps a distinction between deportation and what we’ve done here?

Oh, we care about what SCOTUS says now?

You just told me there isn’t a single court that could compel you to care about the law, so I’m not sure I am in the mood to be lectured at about respect for our laws.

I like how you don’t even bother to want your government to tell the truth anymore. It was never going to happen anyway, but it must be much more relaxing to want the lies.

Did he get a chance to speak with his lawyers regarding his pending deportation to a prison in a country we legally could not deport him to? Because it’s a pretty obvious case for them to make. So easy in fact that I’m aligned with some extremely conservative people on violations of due process.

Then a scumbag illegal terrorist is simply whomever the federal government says is one.

Did they get the chance? I don’t understand how you can watch *this* SCOTUS rule 9-0 that Trump must facilitate his return and come to the conclusion this is some lefty insanity.

Again, all I’m saying is if we’re going to use foreign prisons as a means of punishment for immigrants, I think there should be the same requirements as we have for imprisoning someone here. Deport whomever you wish, but it should require a criminal trial to imprison them domestically or abroad.

Yes, even the First Trump Admin recognized due process was good.

Right now literally all I’m saying is that this CECOT thing was already troubling from the start, but if we’re going to imprison them as terrorists, we should at least have a heck of a better system than “hey, this guy was hanging around Home Depot in the middle of the day with gang members”...

Do we even have evidence that he frequently hung out with gang members? But there’s a reason we don’t just ship people to prison for associating with gang members. He might know some people because El Salvador isn’t a huge place. Is that worth questioning for his continued place in America...

He was released without being charged, and despite the entire right-wing media and federal government being engaged on this, I have yet to see any definitive link between him and MS-13 be shown. You just keep repeating that a CI said he was MS-13 and two immigration judges believed it. CECOT is...

When it comes to determine whether or not he’s a violent criminal, that’s sort of the gist of it, yeah. They have funny sayings about it and everything. Otherwise I could just call the FBI and say you are a terrorist and they’d have no choice but to send you away forever.

A terrorist is someone who commits terrorism. Please provide evidence of this. As far as being an illegal, I disagree this is either a good moral or legal justification for imprisoning that person in a foreign prison for terrorists. Particularly if we’re going to pretend the President of El...

Consider me skeptical that the Texas judicial system is particularly lenient when it comes to murder. If he gets off, it’d likely be due to there being some smoke to the fire of the other kid not being solely an innocent victim. I would not celebrate an acquittal and think he should still be...
