GDT 7/28: Lopez and a Sunday Special that would make Bobby Blush

You are very strange. Ok, pretend you are on the stand and under oath. Would that be the best rotation in the MLB?

GDT 7/28: Lopez and a Sunday Special that would make Bobby Blush

Oh, really, don't believe you for a minute......and what difference does it make.....you know that's a great rotation and it's very, very possible but need to get another catcher....get rid of Murph......strong arms for catchers are greatly over rated. We need a better hitter.

GDT 7/28: Lopez and a Sunday Special that would make Bobby Blush

Hey, I can't spell but I only spelled two incorrectly....Schewlenbach (or whatever) and Stridor(Strider) but you spelled Fried ...Fired. Give my a break...you know that would be the best rotation in MLB.

GDT 7/28: Lopez and a Sunday Special that would make Bobby Blush

Yes. On another note he says he wants to stay with the Braves.. So what kind of starting pitcher rotation would this be next year? Best in majors. Sale Stridor Fried Lopez Swehlenbach Olson gets his act together, Acuna gets better and one more regular decent player, someone to replace...

GDT 7/27: Where is Skip Carey when we need him most…

This game belongs to Schwellenbach and some timely hitting

GDT 7/27: Where is Skip Carey when we need him most…

I'm here :-) but not his mother....his pretend grandmother. And, unlike others who are intellectually dishonest, I admit he doesn't hit with runners on. Last year I complained endlessly about his strikeouts (not on this board but another) and I was flamed constantly because I was supposed to...

Mets game 2: braves on life support

To add to the prior post.....watched the Braves on TBS from 1974 to the early 90's and we celebrated if they happened to win a game. Then everybody got spoiled with the Glavine, Maddux, Smoltz years. My AL (backup) team is beating the Dodgers tonight so that's good. Maybe if they meet in the...

Mets game 2: braves on life support

Get used to living through the 1980's for a few years......you got to pay your dues and maybe when you are as old as I am you will see a great team again.

Mets game 2: braves on life support

I agree about Olson...maybe he over performed last year but his problem this year seems to be 'above the shoulders'....what was it that Yogi said “Baseball is 90 percent mental. The other half is physical.” “ LOL. I definitely think Olson has a mental problem in his approach. Don't hate him...

Mets game 2: braves on life support

Start by trading Murphy and also see what Acuna can bring. Although, he wasn't doing that well before the injury.

Mets game 2: braves on life support

Fan for over 60 years and they are always my team. I'm still watching them on Gameday but I cover my bases when it comes to October so root for the Astros just in case. Would never root for another NL team.....period.... nor the Astros if they end up playing the Braves which happened in '21...

Mets game 2: braves on life support

Since we aren't going to be playing in October....I'm off to watch my AL team on Apple TV . At least there is hope for them.

    Are there no controls....

No where to post this. Are there no controls or rules for this board? If so, where are they? Why am I receiving spam in my mailbox.....members trying to sell things or getting me to subscribe to something. Also, are there no controls for someone attacking someone in a crude way without...

Mets game 2: braves on life support

Possibly true and I think there is at least one other on the team that does too.....

I much prefer d'arnaud to Murphey but realize there needs to be alternating catchers. It's a very exhausting position. Murphy only needs to be there as an alternate.
