Jesus christ thats an insane contract. I think the Yankees wanted him back, but thats an absurd price to match.

I mean we really only need a LF'er/SP/bullpen depth. We can do that and still stay under the tax. But i think AA makes one splashyish move.

It'll be something no ones talking about or is thinking about. Similar to Sale, but i didnt think he was even available last year.

Only way i'd move Baldwin is if there's a wink/wink deal for an extension like Strider's.

Buehler/Eovaldi are probably in his price range. Unless they're getting crazy offers as well. My only concern with Crochet is can you get him w/o parting with Baldwin? I dunno.

If we upgrade LF, Arcia's fine at SS.

Mets supposedly have a 15 year 730M offer to Soto, according to Mike Rodriguez on X. I dont know if anyone else would go there.

Cant say i'm mad at AA for not going to that number.

I'm probably somewhere in the middle. I dont think he'll go bat**** crazy like the Dodgers did last winter but it's pretty clear he made those money saving moves with something in mind. He'll add, how much is tbd. And how much he is at or below the luxury tax, well i guess we'll see when it all...

Soto bidding reaching 600M per Rosenthal. List of final teams not out yet. I'd say the list within the list is: the two NY teams, and Boston if we believe the rumors.

Passan said nothings close on the Soto front. But Soto to Boston would be good for the game.

His luxury tax hit is 34.5M, but it is crazy how much deferred money LA is using.

Tim Britton at the Athletic had his projected contract to the tee. He projected 3/63, and he got exactly that.

I dont know about anyone. His system is hard to figure out given how much you gotta process at the line of scrimmage.

I think Soto will age fine. He's in pretty solid shape, only 26. Hasnt had any serious injuries. Would hate to see him go to the Mets.

Eagles probably only NFC team giving them a game yeah. But Lions are kicking the **** out of everyone they play. They can win in a shootout, win in a street fight, or blow you out. But it is single elimination in the playoffs.
