The retread strategy only works when the offense is at full strength and scoring 5 runs a game. Last year I think it really hurt.

The Braves have made an art of utilizing two mostly equal catchers throughout a season so there should be nothing to stop Baldwin coming up if he's ready.

I'm sad to see Max go. I loved watched him pitch when he was on. That hammer curve is a thing of beauty. I wish it wasn't the Yankees but honestly there's probably only 8 teams in MLB that are gonna give these high-end FA's the deals they're looking for.

The years/per seem okay but the total years is mind-boggling. A guy like Edman is a fine player but easily replaceable. 2 years should've been the max for a guy like that.
