Magic number for AZ is 1, NY is 2. I cant believe how well this weekend has gone so far. Perfection. Here's a question. Let's say the Braves clinch tomorrow, and the Mets clinch after the first game on Monday. Do they play the second?

Magic #'s are 3 for AZ and 4 for NY. Milwaukee could still get the 2-seed. Sadly I don't think SD has anything left to play for. Just take care of business. We could clinch by tomorrow over AZ in which the DH is moot for us from a SP perspective. Throw Holmes and Elder out there.

I'm guessing it's Sale-Fried-Morton for KC and Schwelly-Lopez for the DH. Maybe the Dback will hang themselves and it won't matter.

I will say that the barrel-scraping replacements have for the most part also been successes. Merrifield, Laureano, and Urshela have arguably out-performed in August and September the players they replaced performances in May and June.

If they have to delay the WC series for this so be it. There shouldnt be all those off-days baked into these series anyway. How come teams regularly play DH's, or travel and play a game the next day in the regular season and can't do it in the playoffs?
