This is why I think the Braves are waiting to see who signs Harper and if it’s the Dodgers, AA goes back to his buddies and works a deal for Pederson.

Would you be happy with.....Dodgers sign Harper and trade Pedersen to the Braves for Teheran. Maybe some other players/money to make the deal work. Then, we trade for Bumgarner for 2 under top 10 prospects.

Would you deal Folty and Ender for Kluber?

I wonder if they asked for Ender and we rejected? Wouldn’t it be sweet to hear all the negotiations?

Who said we were signing him? Its all hypothetical, so I am saying I would sign him for one year rather than trading away prospects for Kluber.

Maybe signing Keuchel for one year is better than shipping off 3 or 4 prospects for Kluber. Just thinking long-term here.

The Indians’ plan to attach Kipnis to Kluber or Bauer hurts us unless we can flip or 3-way a deal.

Or, he can fall back on Camargo/Duvall while Riley is learning the outfield at Gwinnett. There are options including Pache.

Could the Braves handle Puig for one year or is just not best to put him in the clubhouse? If he was right, he sure would look good hitting behind Freddie.

There is also a reason we kept Duvall. Worse case, we can play Duvall and Camargo in the outfield knowing that Riley/Pache is not far behind. I kinda like that if we improve elsewhere. And maybe, it’s a reason he hasn’t jumped on one of these signings.

I tend to think that AA will make a couple of deals that are not on anybody’s radar. Something out of the blue. The guys that are being talked about have multiple teams engaged and that causes the price to go up. He’s smarter than that. So, any guesses?

I wonder if we wait to see where Bryce goes. If he goes to the Dodgers, we could get something there. With all the outfielders available, no reason to panick.

You have Duvall as well. For some reason, he seems like a big donk but he’s a great outfielder. And, what if Riley takes to the outfield in ST?

Or, they put Julio in the pen like I’m advocating. I actually think he could close. Things are different when a guy can sling it for an inning.

It’s possible they think the pen is not all that bad if.....Viz returns to form. AJ improves from his rookie season. Teheran goes to the pen. Another one of the kids goes to the pen. I mean, Gohara could be nasty in the pen. Maybe pick up one more veteran on the cheap.

Here’s what I think. We have heard Reamulto, Peralta, Haniger and the free agent outfielders. AA will do something totally different than what we have been hearing.

The thing about lineups is that Acuna may lead off once in a game. I love having the power at the top later in the game.

What would you rather have. Haniger and Leake or Peralta and Grienke.

Offer Harper 6 years and we’re done. We can make it with no other additions if we sign Harper. But, we won’t.
