I don’t know enough about Harper to even guess, but something changed with him after his promotion to MS. He started dominating and then moved in to the rotation. We’ve had good luck turning closers in to starters, so he’s going to be an interesting one to follow.

I think the off-season goal is going to be focused on depth. We need an IF and OF for the bench and another IF and OF to stash in AAA. Guys like Geraldo Perdomo or Willie Castro would be a good bench piece to battle for playing time at SS if they’re made available.

The way I’m looking at it is if we have 1 “keeper”and 1 top tier trade piece per draft we’re not doing too bad. I think we’re accomplishing that.
