We were down 2-0 in the 2nd and 4-0 in the third, but being down 1-0 after the first is somehow worse? I'll take a pitcher who give up 1 or 2 runs early and settles down any day over someone who gives up 3+ runs.

Medlen gave up 5 earned runs in 4 innings, how exactly is that better than giving up ONE run in the first inning?

No, he wasn't bad, but he could have been better when we really needed it. Some pitchers seem to have that ability to rise to the occasion and get it done with the game on the line.

After last year's wildcard game and game 1, I just don't trust Medlen in a win or go home game. Sure, he's been great the last couple months, but he had nothing in game one. I say Medlen in game 4 and Minor in game 5 if necessary.

My wife and I just finished seasons 1-4 of Sons of Anarchy on Netflix. Really good show. Maybe would have been different if I started watching in the beginning and having to wait but it keeps me interested, wanting more. We've stayed up very late a few nights watching one or two more episodes...
