Yes it did unfortunately. There was also an awesome baseball bar here called Foley's which unfortunately closed as a result of the pandemic.

Yes but those contracts also bought their prime years. The next Acuna contract will be his post prime, and he will likely be looking for the longest deal possible. Another team will give it to him.

I think we should all just accept that Acuna will be gone, to the highest bidder. Especially if AA is still here. He has shown he's not willing to pay a premium for a players years after 30.

Great article. But I think as you've astutely pointed out in the past. It all looks good until some of these players who received extensions start tanking. Then it may require a rebuild.
