Cool Sorry Acuna’s not a real MVP. Was Harper a real MVP when he posted a .522 OPS in the 2012 playoffs? Or a .752 in 2016? Or .725 in 2017? All years where his team lost their first series? It’s almost like it’s an extreme small sample size.

This. The idea that Acuna isn’t working as hard as other guys is stupid. Does he have enough talent to be a major leaguer without busting it all the time? Sure, for a few years at least. Best player in the league? Lulz His improvement in K rate alone tells you he is working his ass off.

The guy was ranked 200. He’s not a true 2nd rounder, but it’s not like we took him for the sole purpose of saving slot money. I’m sure they think he could turn into something useful.
