The two picks right after Anderson, Pint and Ray, have been hot garbage.

Depends on what you’re trying to do. If we’re the ones with a deal made with Porter, then we let him fall to 35 and go ahead and take Murphy at 20 so you make sure you get him, too. You may end up paying them what you would have paid with those picks reversed but you ensure you get both guys you...

An average MLB catcher is an awesome result for a 1st round pick.

LOL this is just going to excite us only to ultimately leave us with the same ol group of guys available at 20.

Why worry about going over slot later if you can get a talent like Collier now? I'd also love Porter.

I'd take Crawford or Collier. Also Susac or Porter. We'll be able to get a consensus top 15 talent with one of them if we want it.

Jett Williams is now another that was projected to still be there when we picked that has gone. Hopefully one of the teams that might have taken Lesko jumps on Collier instead.

I know it's the MLB draft and it's just different, but pretty crazy to see so many of the top 10 be guys ranked quite a bit lower. Interesting to see who ends up falling to us.

    Guess Harris debut date

And the being 2 years younger matters a ton. Tearing up AA at 21 is very good. Tearing up AA at 19 is where you get to potentially generational. As for the Riley comp...he wasn't close to a 4-5 WAR player when he made his debut.

    4/12 GDT: Nats game 2 - need a win

Assuming Ozuna continues to hit well, I'd prefer we try to use it as a means to offload him. I know with his 'stigma' and contract it still may be difficult to do that, but I'd rather just be free of him and look for something else. I hate that in rooting for the Braves to succeed, it also...

    2022 FG Positional WAR Rankings

The Dodgers' lineup is projected for just under 6 more WAR than the Braves according to FG, and that is with the difference between Acuna and Bellinger at 1.3. They project Bellinger at 3 WAR. If he's closer to the 0-1 WAR I expect him to put up because he just has no idea what he's doing right...

    2022 FG Positional WAR Rankings

The Dodgers are not really deep. Not anymore. They're still great at the top, no doubt. And you can certainly make a good argument their lineup is better than ours overall still. But they're not crazy deep anymore. They now definitely need guys like Bellinger and Lux to produce.

    2022 FG Positional WAR Rankings

Lux now has to start for them, Piña is better than Barnes, Alberto is maybe a hair better than Arcia, and Dickerson is pretty comparable with Pillar at this point. Rios was garbage last year and has done very little of anything in his career. Look at what that group gave last year vs. ours and...
