AJC: Timing May Not Be Right For Chipper To Return

and Smoltz as the GM. Wouldn't it be great to have people in the organization that actually cared about it? Especially the owners.

    Starting over...who are the untouchables?

I have always said that NOBODY is untouchable. If a trade improves the team, you do it. However, there are those guys that I would like to see us keep. They are Freeman, Simmons, Bethancourt, Heyward, Wood, Teheran and Kimbrell. Of course there are guys in the minors as well. What say you?

Gary Sheffield Comments On Current Braves

He thinks Haywood is a good defender.

    Wren "dismissed" --

If you want to keep it in the Braves fold and want to add a little more fire, make Pendleton the manager.

Bowman: Braves With Decisions To Make After Disappointing '14

Sometimes, it's best to clean house. We haven't had that since Ted bought the team and even Milo was cut. :) I think now is that time. we are gonna need time to be ready for the new stadium. That should begin now!

    OFFICIAL FALLING AXE PREDICTION THREAD

That's it! And, yed, that's where I looked up the info. We have been pretty solid with GMs.

    OFFICIAL FALLING AXE PREDICTION THREAD

BTW....can you name the last GM that the Braves fired from the organization? You have to go WAY back.

Bowman: Braves With Decisions To Make After Disappointing '14

Fredi can only manage the players that Wren gives him. Fredi can't make these guys hit. Nobody can. Having said that....I am for a total house cleaning. Everybody except for McDowell.

Rosenthal: Growing Pains In Atlanta, Or Big Changes Coming?

I think it's OK to keep Heyward. He is still young and could break out soon. As for Gattis, he has trade value. We need to get away from the strike out guys. It would be nice to get a real leadoff hitter.

Rosenthal: Growing Pains In Atlanta, Or Big Changes Coming?

I love the Braves and have since 1966. I am also probably the biggest optimist when it comes to trades and the future of the team. HOWEVER, it is time for them to clean up and go another direction headed towards the new stadium. Teheran, Wood, Kimbrell, Freeman, Simmons, Bethancourt and J Upton...

    1993 Comeback Against the Reds

"the ted catches fire." That was Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium.

DOB: Upton will be moved, Gattis very possibly as well

I think just the opposite. I would think Justin carries the stress of watching his brother suck up the place. If the Braves don't make the playoffs or even if they do and lose the first game, I can se them cleaning house. Keep Freeman, Heyward, Simmons, J Upton, Wood, Teheran and the studs in...

Remember when we used to talk about there being no passion? We wanted somebody to get mad?

So You Want To "Fix" 2B

I cut Uggla. We have to ay him anyway so why pay for sub .200 and Ks? At this point, you pay to get rid of him. He's a nice guy and all but I don't feel sorry for millionaires. He'll be just fine.

Teams You Root For and Against

Braves always first. Teams I pull for if it doesn't affect the Braves in the standings: Red Sox Reds Cards

    Bad umpiring

CB Bucknor is an equal opportunity bad ump. Herandez and Hahn just don't like us.

Braves sign Ervin Santana to 1 year 14.1M deal

Sure are a lot of negative people here. I call them "yeah, buts." We could get Kershaw and people would be posting "yeah, but..........." Here's what I believe. The Braves are better off with Santana than without Santana. He will give us 200+ innings. We need that this year.
