8/14 GDT: Atlanta Braves at Colorado Rockies

Really wish they'd try switching Dansby and Albies and take a look at that alignment

    Let's be real about Newcomb

The concern I have is it doesn't seem to be a mechanical issue (from my eyes)

    Analyzing Fried's stuff

Yeah. It's a pretty noticeable difference for the guys who are getting their first callup.

    Analyzing Fried's stuff

In reference to guys stuff (velocity, spin rate, .etc) in majors vs. minors, it's very important to keep in my that the balls are different. A la, why MLB pitchers are allowed to use MLB baseballs on rehab assignments.

    Newcomb

Newcomb's misses are almost always to the arm side, which tells me he has the tendency of cutting himself off which is a very common problem with young pitchers and pitchers who generally speaking don't have many innings under their belt. I would imagine this is why Flowers called more changeups...

    My Big, Fat Second Guess

If I correctly recall, they decided to go with Motte instead? I agree, Hernandez was the better option and could (would have) netted us a prospect.

SUNDAY MINORS FINAL 7/30 ... Wentz keeps day from being total waste

It probably wouldn't be a big deal. Albies being a switch hitter really helps.

SUNDAY MINORS FINAL 7/30 ... Wentz keeps day from being total waste

I see and like the logic but that makes us awful right-handed don't ya think? Or am I making something out of nothing and it's no big deal?

    Braves Phils- 7/30 GDT

My biggest problem is this!! He should still be on rehab assignment getting AB's... clearly not ready!!

SUNDAY MINORS FINAL 7/30 ... Wentz keeps day from being total waste

After getting to see Albies for three games (yes I know it's a SSS) and Swanson for most of the year, it's my opinion (take it for what it's worth) that Albies is/would be the superior defender at SS. I think switching them whilst at AAA would be a good thing. To me, their arms are similar...

    AcuñaMania

Very well said, it's not how he necessarily "talks" to me but how he treats others. I was raised (I'm 28 years old) by my parents with the simple quoted mindset of "If you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all" and while some jabbing back in forth is all in jest, there...

You are the sole reason I don't post on this board as often as I did in the past and as much as I would like to. I would guess I'm not alone... .

    6/5- Phillies/Braves game 1

One of the things that pisses me off the most, is the fact Bartolo acts like it's no big deal.

    Collmenter DFA'd, Wisler Returns

Personally, would have liked to have seen Akeel Morris get the call up.

    5/24... pirates game 3

My problem isn't with giving Dansby a day off, it's starting Jace at a position he's struggled at when Santana is a natural SS who's played there far more and was a regular at the position two years ago.

GDT: 5/17 Braves vs Blue Jays

I think a couple options are: Matt Adams, James Loney, Chris Collabelo or Richie Schafer and lastly internally Carlos Franco. This is why the Sean Rodriguez injury was so devastating...
