Yeah. It's a pretty noticeable difference for the guys who are getting their first callup.

In reference to guys stuff (velocity, spin rate, .etc) in majors vs. minors, it's very important to keep in my that the balls are different. A la, why MLB pitchers are allowed to use MLB baseballs on rehab assignments.

Newcomb's misses are almost always to the arm side, which tells me he has the tendency of cutting himself off which is a very common problem with young pitchers and pitchers who generally speaking don't have many innings under their belt. I would imagine this is why Flowers called more changeups...

It probably wouldn't be a big deal. Albies being a switch hitter really helps.

After getting to see Albies for three games (yes I know it's a SSS) and Swanson for most of the year, it's my opinion (take it for what it's worth) that Albies is/would be the superior defender at SS. I think switching them whilst at AAA would be a good thing. To me, their arms are similar...

My problem isn't with giving Dansby a day off, it's starting Jace at a position he's struggled at when Santana is a natural SS who's played there far more and was a regular at the position two years ago.

I think a couple options are: Matt Adams, James Loney, Chris Collabelo or Richie Schafer and lastly internally Carlos Franco. This is why the Sean Rodriguez injury was so devastating...
