The key IMO is those B's are all in the low minors. In another year half of them could be A's of some sort.

Wouldn't put Venters on that list yet. He won't be ready when the season starts. And you also left Varvaro & Gearrin off the list. The braves will have plenty of depth but non-tendering C-Mart is not a bad thing. He would have gotten close to 1 mill in arby and now they might get him back for...

losing C-mart is not a big deal people. We need 7th/8th & Loogy for the pen. Not a swing reliever.

Well DOB seemed to think Colon might be an option but with the contract Kazmir just got I would suspect Colon wanted more so the A's moved on. Doubt the Braves go with Colon.

its a bad trade no matter how you look at it. I would rather have Uggla playing 2B then make that trade.

So you think Hale is as good as Medlen, Teheran, or Minor? A rotation that has Wood beachy and hale in it is just plan bad for a team wanting to win a WS.

Not really. You lose any of those top 3 and we will be in the same boat as we were this year. No one in AAA is going to come up and give the innings that any of the top 3 would. SP is a very big need.

Like I said if Wren doesn't get a SP now then he will be come July when they cost twice as much. Getting a SP is not going to kill your chances of extending players or fixing the bench.

I doubt we get into Arroyro, santana, or Hughes. But I see no reason not to try to get Loshe. If wren doesn't get a SP now he will be getting one come July when they cost way more.

I don't think Minor, Medlen, and Tehran are enough 1-3 to get the job done. They need help and wood/beachy isn't enough.

We don't have anything close thats worth price.

I don't see anyway wood or bechy throws 200ip and a sub 3.30 ERA. I good with 1 of beachy/wood being in the rotation but not both
