It could be that Lehmann is already the guy and there's a handshake agreement but it can't be announced until the Dodgers are done. AA knows Lehmann well already so he probably doesn't have to have multiple interviews with him. He's already talked to Lombard I'm sure.

I think we're gonna see a couple of big trades but not a lot given up. Gray for peanuts basically and then they'll revisit Buxton again. Buxton can play all 3 OF spots and he can rotate through DH with Ronnie and the C to keep their legs fresh. Almost makes to much sense.

I think Kim gets done pretty soon after the WS is over. If we can extend Kim early and hire one of Lombard or Lehmann we are in really good shape heading into the big part of the offseason.

I don't think they'd make an extension announcement at this point either. They'd just wait til after the WS. I have a feeling both sides wanna make a deal though. It'd be good to get on Boras good side.

I'd rather use the resources for a young controllable SS. I've said Whetherholt a lot but he could be had for young pitching more than likely bc they have Winn. They may not wanna trade either. You could use the money savings at SS to get 2 SP.

Nope. We would just be adding to the injury list with deGrom. Gray makes a lot of sense depending on money but I still hope he gets Cease or somebody controlled longer especially with the CBA up in the air.

Yeah but this offseason I think AA goes off his normal course. The CBA is gonna change a lot of things and if he can sign a couple of big guys that won't be affected the next offseason. AA is gonna finally spend I believe .

Yeah only way I get Gray is if Whetherholt or Winn were attainable. Otherwise I just sign one.

We would have to trade prospects of course but taking all of Grays salary would cut it down.
