I was hoping this was a transition from the laid-back hugger of teammates to more of a leadership role, but his "it shut them (the fans) up" comment* about Uggla's HR made me revisit this. * He has a point, of course, but there were plenty of other ways to say it IMO and still get his meaning...

I tend to agree, especially when Eovaldi went to the AL. Their losing him brought them back toward us in the pack IMO.

Jaime had an OK outing the 12-2 win in Miami: he walked Prado on 4 pitches, then settled down to pitch out the 9th. Fredi was probably hoping for the same, but it didn't pan out. Lesson learned, if one goes by Fredi's quote.

FWIW (I didn't hear Fredi postgame), an AJC quote has it as, "I think we only struck out 3 times... before Dunn came in."

Ah! Braves baseball. I'm more than ready. It will be fun listening to Jim and Don on the drive home.
