What's the difference? What's it matter if the Braves develop their own Archer or trade pitching prospects for Archer? Isn't the end result the same? By your own logic, pitching prospects are so volatile, it would make sense to parlay a couple of them for a guy like Archer.

Please stop, we traded for and signed a bunch of assets both pitchers and hitters, many from each column won't make it. Everybody here understands pitchers will have arm injuries.

A 2-pitch guy that pitches around a 4 ERA but eats innings isn't a bullpen guy. He's a #4/5 type and while he's cheap there is value in that.

Doesn't sound like he's too sure of that pitching order, says Wright is probably 3, but an argument can be made for Soroka/Allard/Gohara as well. I think you can probably arrange that top group however you want to and not really be wrong. I'd still start with Albies/Acuna and then go from there.
