If he can be revered like Snit but actually manage a bullpen and bench correctly, it'll be a slam-dunk hire. lol

He was a manager for the Rockies. That doesn't count for much

You guys are shitting on AA way too hard. If he doesn't have the money, he doesn't have it. It's clearly not an AA issue.

The most important thing is that Alex has the resources to improve the club. We can't have the same shit as last year. Simple as that.

The Braves need to be on this ASAP: Breaking Cubs news: Lefty starter Shota Imanaga is a free agent, sources tell ESPN. The team rejected their option to extend his contract out to a fifth year. That triggered his ability to exercise a $15 million player option for 2026. He declined that as well.

I'd be excited for Lehmann and Lombard, fine with Flaherty, but pretty pissed with Gibbons.

My buddy is a huge Dodgers fan and he couldn't believe they won. He said they got their asses handed to them. Honestly, Yama, Ohtani and mainly luck fuelded them. Even Statcast had them getting handled nearly every game. I feel awful for the Blue Jays.

Hard to say much, the the Blue Jays gave up a game-tying home with one out in the ninth to a below-average hitter. That's the game. Brutal loss, man, but that's beyond stupid.

The Nationals have hired 33-year-old Blake Butera as their next manager. Man, the Braves really will have the pick of the lot. That makes two hires with major-league experience and four without, right? The Braves, Padres, and Rockies are still on deck.

I get he's paid handsomely to do it, but the Dodgers would have been ousted days ago without Ohtani. It's hard to believe they've looked this bad thus far.

Dave Roberts is nothing like Lehmann. Roberts was cut from the same cloth as Snit in terms of archaic managing. He's just recently started implementing tactics into his managing his bullpen. Lehmann has been described as a data-driven "analytics fiend."

What a series for the Blue Jays. It’s far from over, but with two more games at home, they’re in a terrific spot. Hard to believe they’re just a few bad breaks and some over-aggressive base running away from a 4-1 series blowout.

I doubt it happens, but the Jays potentially going to LA and taking two of three would be one of the more impressive baseball feats that I've seen in a while. Hell, they are a few bounces away from being 3-1 right now.

Realistically, losing a draft pick due to the QO is the one thing that makes me think we’d target someone like Bassitt, Gallen, or Merrill on a one-year deal, or pivot to trading for a guy like Pablo López, Joe Ryan, or Mitch Keller. I’d admittedly love someone with high-end upside and proven...

Yeah, he’s a really valuable asset for the Dodgers. He’s incredibly analytical, and I’ve heard several Dodgers fans credit him as a big reason why Roberts has made noticeably better bullpen decisions the last two years after struggling with that part of the game for much of the past decade.
