Just adding this here: Since being traded from the Rockies  to the Braves, both Pierce Johnson and Tyler Kinley have been outstanding. Johnson posted a 0.76 ERA after his 2023 trade and Kinley has been equally dominant, allowing just six hits, six walks and one earned run.

Watching these dudes swing through or ground out on center-cut two-strike fastballs is wild.

Still, I don't see any reason to not re-sign him as long as he's amicable to a reasonable contract. Most players are going to be searching for a minimum 2-year deal given the impending lockout, so something like a 2-year, $24M deal seems more than reasonable.
