And yet his xStats are still elite and in line with his play in 2023... maybe not exactly there but certainly in the same ball park.

Who cares about his K-rate when he is just as productive... which he is Dude had a 171 wRC+ in 2023, has a 188 wRC+ this year so far. He's playing better than his expected stats this year but his xwOBA is still elite

He had a 130 wRC+ his first year with us and has a 131 this year. Last year was an injury outlier. He’s basically a 30% better than average hitter.

I will say he was been much more productive than I thought… I just for some reason can’t get excited about him.
