Doubtful. Let's see how this comparison looks when Freddie is 36 and 37. Freeman may indeed defy Mother Nature and perform up to the level he's being paid for well past his prime, but it's still not a smart bet to assume that will happen.

There really wasn't any reason not to give him a month or so to see if he could rebound. He didn't. It has been nearly three years since Ozuna was a productive MLB player. As soon as a roster spot is needed he needs to be DFA'd, regardless of the money committed to him.
