If we're selecting our platoon LF based on defense we're doing it wrong. Heyward seems much more likely to regress to the sub-.700 OPS guy he was for most of his Cubs deal than what he showed last year in LA.

We can agree to disagree. That glove won't look all that impressive when Heyward puts up a sub-.600 OPS as the long side of a platoon.

Obviously I could be wrong but if I were betting on one of Rosario or Heyward to replicate or exceed their 2023 performance I think I'd have to go with Eddie. Neither has been consistent, but Eddie seems to have a little less variance between his peaks and valleys.
