    Appreciate what he did for us. But he sucks now. It’s not that he’s struggling. It’s regression. He’s losing velocity and as a guy who can’t spin a baseball there’s not much hope for him.

    His Max EV is on par with Dansby. He’s gonna be fine. He’s got plus contact ability. He’s a more talented hitter than Dansby ever was. He will need to learn to be a little more selective and choose pitches he can drive and not just pitches he can put in play. That’s where the low EVs come from...

    Agreed. Combined with the fact he throws over the top and the command sucks that slider isn’t changing who he is. Make some sort of leap with the command and maybe he’s decent. But his changeup and fastball both took steps back last year, it wasn’t just the command that failed him.
