I'd like to see Waldrep pitch to Baldwin if we're going to keep pitching him in September. I'd love to move Murphy for a legitimate piece for 2026 but afraid this specific front office will keep Murphy just because of Waldrep.

As of now, Waldrep is 10 innings away from losing Rookie status. He's spent roughly 30ish days on the active Major League Roster combined the last two years prior to September 1, so he's good there. Braves could give him one more start without hitting that 10 innings (combined with this one)...

Braves currently 1/2 game out of getting the 2nd best odds for the #1 pick. At this point, I don't think anyone is catching up to the White Sox who only have 48 wins. With the Rockies and Nationals ineligible this year, I think the White Sox lock up the best odds in the next couple of weeks.

Horton's next 2 starts are against the Braves. Here's hoping for the Cubs to win those games 10-9 with Horton getting shelled both times.
