GDT 9-13: Ace Elder vs. Astros

A loss today will match Atlanta's low of 19 games under .500 this year. They were last 19 games under .500 on August 8 at 48-67.

GDT 9-13: Ace Elder vs. Astros

Baldwin likely sits today. Hoping he can feast on the terrible Nationals. For tankathon purposes, I hope the Braves see Skenes and Bubba Chandler in that last series.

GDT 9-13: Ace Elder vs. Astros

Elder had to fall back down to earth sometime soon.

    Tankathon draft pick watch

Good start to today with the Pirates winning

    GDT 9-12: Astros at Braves

Braves have the 3rd easiest schedule left, so hopefully the Astros and Tigers do their damage on the Braves. I imagine Atlanta will go something like 8-2 in those 10 games with Washington and Pittsburgh

    GDT 9-12: Astros at Braves

Ace Elder goes today but unfortunately draws Houston’s ace.

    GDT 9-12: Astros at Braves

Eli White HR, so you know Snit will start him tomorrow. Drake has really gone in the tank in the month of September. I've kind of given up on his ROTY status at this point.

    GDT 9-12: Astros at Braves

    Snitker against Troy Snitker

    Snit Watch

I can see it now: Snit gets one more year and Weiss is named manager in waiting for 2027

    Snit Watch

I realize no one wins at a high rate in Colorado, but his disposition appears to be a Snit clone. He has said in the past he is anti-analytics, and I cannot see him firing up a locker room.

    Snit Watch

100% I see it happening though. It’s the Braves’ Way after all.

    GDT 9-8: Dansby is Home

Craig Counsell gets so much air time because he's always on the field for some reason.

GDT 9-7: Roku Game at 12:05: Ronald Acuna Batting 7th

Hammer Territory made a good point: as badly as Austin Riley had struggled in the past, Snit never hit him lower than 5th. We really need an outside voice leading us next season.
