Completely making up a narrative here, but $16m seems like kind of a lot, even for just 1 year of iggy. I think that was the cost to sign him *today*. Maybe you wait a month or two and no one signs him and he’ll sign for $3m less. If money were that tight, AA is hanging and letting it play out...
