lol, what? How many people are typically gunned down during these types of protests by the local police?

    The Siege of Minneapolis

The sentiment probably does. But the guy brandishing a cell phone instead of the gun he brought in his confrontation with officers is likely not there to kill officers.

Because everything is a seesaw now. They use mandatory sentencing laws for things that I agree are unjust as well. I wish there’d be better restraint on these things.

    The Siege of Minneapolis

And many on the other side, including the Trump Administration, are calling him a domestic terrorist who tried to assassinate as many ICE agents as possible. Maybe take them to task for their response to the same pixelated video?

    The Siege of Minneapolis

This isn’t some plot by Dems to keep killers on the loose, and there are actual reasons to not want the government to simply imprison all the crazy people. I don’t support this particular verdict, but that’s not why the laws are on the books.

Bold choice of strategy to wait until he was being pepper sprayed and assaulted if he wanted to inflict maximum damage.

    The Siege of Minneapolis

You’re just describing political action now. The people within those groups are people with their own agency and opinions. That doesn’t make it *not* a protest.

    The Siege of Minneapolis

The Venn Diagram of people politically motivated enough to protest in the streets and people politically motivated enough to help with political campaigns likely has a lot of overlap.

Yes, that’s generally how it works. He likely won’t repeat that mistake. Now let’s talk about if our government unjustifiably murdered him.
