Peralta would definitely put this rotation at the top of the league. I'd hate to be an opposing team going into the playoffs against a healthy Braves rotation. Ritchie or Cam would probably have to headline it unless they wanted Waldrep and they just might.

Yep. We need our own guys to perform and that would fix a lot of our problems.

An average offseason isn't terrible with guys already in place at most positions. After the last 2 offseasons I'll take average. Get a legit SP and we'll be in good shape.

We needed quality depth and AA has done that so far. Get a good SP and we should re take the east.

I think AA is done with the offense unless a deal falls in his lap.

With only 39 days left till P and C report there are a lot of big names out there.

I could definitely see the Dodgers doing that short term high AAV deal for Tucker.

If you have a chance to get Tucker then you do it and just make Yaz a really expensive bench bat or try to trade Profar.

Rumors are the Blue Jays will still sign one of Tucker/Bichette. They must be printing money in Toronto.

I still hope Bassitt is the play for the rotation. No QO and it'd be short term. He eats innings and we need that.

The FA SP market is weak next year outside of Skubal so he may wanna do a 1 year deal but I doubt it. 5 years would be the max I'm guessing anybody would offer him.

I'm curious to see what Framber ends up getting. He's been a work horse and a pretty good one at that. He's 32 so that'll play a part in it.

Framber is definitely out now. I wonder how much hitting his own catcher affected his market.

Boy that's as 1 sided of a deal as you can get. If he opts out they can offer him a QO.

I trust AA. They saw something in Sale and he's been mostly healthy here (the dive for the ball was Snits fault for leaving him in to long). If they could keep it at 5 years and around 20-23 per would be great. The battery is already a cash cow but you tap into the Japanese market and sky's...

Gaurav is pretty well connected. If he said they are interested in Imai then they are. AA seems to be wanting to make a splash and that would do it.

In all honesty the only reason Yamamoto is as popular as he is is bc of Ohtani and playing for the Dodgers. If he were on another team there wouldn't be as big of a following. I trust the scouting department so if they go that route then I'm on board. I just think they'll want a more proven...

He's listed at 176 now. Him and Yamamoto are probably the same size.

Yeah he's not very big. Tim Lincecum wasn't big and was dominate for a few years then just fell off a cliff at age 28. I'm not giving 150 million to that even with the Japanese market behind him.

And at 5'11 160 lbs he's way undersized.
