Good for Marcell. And good for Pitt. They aren't looking too bad right now as long as guys stay healthy. If Ozuna gets back anywhere close to what he was pre hip injury, then the Pirates should have a pretty solid line-up. Lowe, O'Hearn, Horwitz, Ozuna, Cruz, and Reynolds is very solid. Then you...

By the way, as if there was ever any confusion before this year, it can comfortably be said that Stafford has had a better career than Matt Ryan.

Maye was nowhere near as good of a regular season QB as Stafford. What in the hell were you watching? Not only did Stafford have significantly better raw stats, but he also played a much tougher schedule. The Patriots regular season schedule was historically easy. Their combined opponent winning...

I mean money buys you a lot of legal defense. I think the girl will likely end up requesting charges involving her to be dropped because is almost always what ends up happening. So then he'll just have to face the police stuff. And those will probably get reduced since he appears to be a first...

Damn. How in the hell did he manage to stay out of trouble this long? He didn't have the first incident at Tennessee A high ranking police officer said Pierce was lucky to be alive after driving directly into an officer while fleeing. IF he plays football again, he should consider himself lucky.

The hit tool is a pretty big issue. But if he can hit for enough power, cut down the Ks, and play quality defense, then the hit tool isn't too much of a concern. JP Crawford is probably a decent comp for Lodise. Though Lodise will likely steal a lot more bases than Crawford has over his career.

Nevermind. I see it was in EL's chat. Fuentes and Ritchie making it means we should likely have 3 prospects in their top 100 for the first time in awhile.

Granted, the raw stuff is really impressive and it gives him...

Winning cures all. Douchebags exist on every team. If he pitches well enough and isn't a problem in the locker room, it's a non-issue. But I am certainly glad I don't have to hold my nose and root for a win every 5 days.

Fuentes and Gil were good finds. But in general, it's been pretty barren, particularly with our more expensive signings. Fingers crossed on Tornes. Early reports are very good, however. Hopefully he starts the year in the FCL. Michael Martinez isn't very heralded, but he is one I am also...

The guys over at Braves Today have mulled around names like Jordan Montgomery and Evan Phillips as guys we could add without having to move anyone off the 40 man, since both pitchers are unlikely to be back before July. Montgomery doesn't interest me much, but Phillips would be a nice stash for...

About the same overall rating as years past. But last year's draft and recent international signings have added a much needed crop of hitters, though most of them are likely 2-3 years away at best. Among hitters that could move a little more quickly, you have Lodise, Miller, Dixon, and probably...

The only guys in this range I don't like are Guanipa and Burkhalter. Essenburg is probably ranked too high as well given he is a prep hitter that is likely 2 years behind the guys ranked behind him on the list. The other guys on the list are in the relative range I would rank them. But I do...

Battery Power posted prospects 18-13. It's curious that Burkhalter is on the prospect list at all given he cleared the rule 5 draft and is almost certainly a reliever going forward. I would barely have him in our top 30, if at all...

He's likely gonna have to take a short deal to rebuild his value/reputation and remove the pick, so probably not surprising we are interested in that.

Indeed. I also like Eric Hartman higher as well, since his ceiling higher than many of the pitchers ahead of him, while being no worse of a risk when you factor in the inherit injury risk for pitchers.
