It's naive to think that officiating doesn't affect the outcome of games. I know that's the fantasy we like to tell ourselves because it makes the competition more pure or whatever, but of course officiating affects things. Again, Kentucky could have and should have overcome the officiating...

They didn't show the replay in the arena and I have not and will not watch it. Maybe they could have. Wouldn't surprise me if they blew another call. Kentucky still wins if the game is called correctly.

"Factual" is obviously hyperbolic but the officials royally screwed us last night. The shot clock is just one thing. Towns second foul was total BS and we had to play the last 5 minutes of the first half without him. Meanwhile Kaminsky hacks Andrew on a drive for what should be his second...

Again, fly-bys who watch 3 college basketball games all year somehow making grand conclusions in Aprill piss me off (not you, giles). That said, you can crap on Andrew for trying to take over late if you want.. But the fact is he carried us through that first half and most of the second. He...

The more I think about it.. **** college basketball and it's horrible officials. If that game is called fairly/correctly, Kentucky wins. Doesn't mean Kentucky couldn't have overcome it, but they shouldn't have to. Call it sour grapes if you want but ^ is factual.

Duke will crush them. Wisconsin just won their Super Bowl, just like West Virginia in 2010. Can't believe ****ing Duke is winning in our year again. Oh well. Better them than Wisconsin. Won't watch one second of it.

I honestly think college officials are racist. I think there was a study that proved that a few years ago actually.

Well, that really ****ing sucks. Ran into a red-hot Wisconsin team that got all the breaks. Absolutelt BRUTAL officiating. Wisconsin played out of their minds. Kentucky played pretty well. All that said, don't get 3 shot clock violations in a row and you win anyway. No idea what Cal was...

Cal's strength is recruiting and managing personalities. He's a better in-game coach than people give him credit for, but I wouldn't call him a brilliant tactician. He excels at getting the most out of his players and getting them to buy in.. Not at Xs and Os. He's more Phil Jackson than he...

I hate when people act like personnel isn't a part of coaching at the college level. Who got those players to Kentucky? Recruiting is absolutely a part of college coaching. Also, two of those Final Fours were as a 4 seed and an 8 seed.

4 Final Fours in 5 years. 22-3 record in the Tournament at Kentucky (15-1 in his last 16). Cal is a bad coach.

I knew you'd say this. Yes, his stats are better. Towns has had an unreal season in his own right. He's flat-out won Kentucky some games, and he's been their go-to offensively for the second half of the season. That said, Towns has also been prone to getting into foul trouble and he makes...

Kind of surprised Willie got first team, but he deserves it. He is our best player and an unreal defender. And there are times when he has completely carried us. If I had to rank him, Noel, and AD (purely on defense)... it would be tough. Think I'd go: 1. AD 2. WCS 3. Noel But really...

I guess it's about as good as Tennessee can do. If Alabama gets Marshall, the SEC is going to have some really good coaches.

Gonzaga actually was pretty good this year. I didn't think they had much of a chance to hang with Duke because they don't have any where near the same caliber of athlete, but they were a good team this year. I think any of Arizona/Wisconsin/healthy Virginia/Kentucky/Villanova could have given...
