The contracts are already doled out. It’s all about how much AA and team can build the farm up now. I’d keep the “athletic pitcher with repeatable delivery” mindset and draft athletic C, SS, and CF.

AA is making sure we’re not the Cubs and trying to keep us on pace with the Dodgers. The key will be how well he builds the farm up which should see a large portion of our resources while we have a core in place.

Ozuna and Rosario are big mistakes. My hope is that AA saw it was going to be a silly FA market and chose to dole out extensions increasing the luxury tax salary payroll, so he had an excuse for not overpaying in this market. The extensions no doubt are worth it, but short term painful.
