I think he is a better left fielder than right. A comparison of athletic defensive skills between Jason and Justin says it all. Justin is playing where he is best suited.

I agree that Jason is an excellent runner and defender but has been very inconsistent as a batter. Justin has looked bad on ocassion in left but seems to be overall adequate at the position. I just don't think he has the athletism for right.

Would the Atlanta Braves have the guts to do that. I agree that if he hasn't turned it around by the time playoffs start that he should be left off the roster but does anyone believe that Wren would actually do it?

Justin stays in left. As we have all witnessed, his defense isn't good enough for right. Gattis is our fall back in case we lose Mac. If Mac resigns then I could see them trading Laird or Gattis. For right field I think we let Terdo and Shaffer battle it out.

No where near time for that. I still think if we can package him for a TOR starter we should do it. We have a couple of options for right field.

I had it back in 2000 and agree that it is awesome. As long as his bat speed hasn't dropped off as some here have speculated then he should at least clearly see the ball miss his bat. 😄

Although the attacks can get personal I don't think anybody on here has a personal problem with Uggla. It just seems many are frustrated with his deteriorating baseball skills. Hopefully he comes back and is worth every penny he is being paid for the remainder of his contract.

Absolutely. He has hurt himself and the team by not getting this taken care of sooner. But I swear it does seem like some braves brass read this board because there are a lot of coincidences. Hopefully Uggla will come back ready to go. By the way, how long us he expected to miss?
