Freeman and LaRoche are two of the 5 slowest players in the majors with Brian McCann being another of the 5.

Chipper could actually hold his own out there. Justin just looks completely lost at times.

I'm sick of the Uptons! Get rid of both of them! I'm done with them! Justin Upton is one of the worst defensive players I've ever seen!

Dan Uggla is the worst throwing 2nd baseman this side of Chuck Knoblauch.

    Braves claim Pedro Beato

Yeah that was a complete head stratcher of a move. Made absolutely no sense whatsoever.

    Braves claim Pedro Beato

I was talking about Beato. The reason he has bounced around is because of his lack of control. But I have no problem with a team taking chances on guys like this because sometimes they eventually figure it out and become lights out. If he does then we cut him loose and it's no biggie.

Is it too early to give up on BJ Upton?

I would enjoy it a lot more if it came over the course of 6 good months instead of 2 great months and 4 bad ones.

    Braves claim Pedro Beato

I like taking chances on guys that have good stuff but have had control issues in the past. Sometimes it just finally clicks for a guy and he can be lights out. Other times it doesn't click and you quickly move on. Nothing wrong with this move.

Consistency is overrated? Did you seriously just say that?

Is it too early to give up on BJ Upton?

Prado was dead weight the whole first half of last year. He was barely hitting above .200 at the start of June last year.

Good ESPN article on Freeman (and Heyward and Wood)

If I remember correctly the Braves tried to change Julio's delivery going into the 2012 season which led to him getting hammered at Gwinnett. It wasn't until late in that year that they just let him get back to doing what came naturally to him and boom he was back to dominating.
