    I thought for sure that Nick Markakis would lead the Braves in pitches per at bat, but surprisingly it's Dansby with 4.01...Markakis is second at 3.97.

    Justin Smoak passed through waivers...not as good as he was last season, but still really solid. I know the Braves don't need a 1st basemen, but seems he would be a solid bench option (who can hit both ways pretty good).

    His change has more vertical movement than I thought...the camera angle and quality of the AA start I saw must have been terrible because it appears to be a much better pitch than I remember seeing.

    Bryse Wilson

    I watched one of his AA games, and his stuff doesn't look that good. He does have an above average fastball, and he threw inside a lot...not sure if that's what he'll do in the bigs, but definitely thew inside a lot in AA...lots of fastballs. Don't remember seeing anything that good in his off...
