Beane's way more of a problem. Made some bad contracts, and missed on a TON of picks recently.

Beane's had some good picks but he's whiffed on alot of picks. Yes they draft late every year but he's had some really underwhelming drafts. Josh backpacks that team. Like he's throwing to Samuel, Cooks and Coleman out there....

It was probably time to part ways tbh. But they're late in their search and have to wait a week to interview teams still in the CG's.

They win if Stroud doesnt play god awful. Their defense held up reasonably well, the pick six was awful.

Dubon's as good of a replacement as you could ask for. But not ideal.

Darnold didnt really need to do anything last night to win. He will if LA can win in Chicago.

Dodgers are the best team in baseball but Toronto outplayed them in the WS and honestly probably should have won. Baseball isnt like other sports where talent always win. It's a cruel sport.

Stefanski's probably the 2nd best coach available in this cycle. And you'll be keeping Ulbrich who did a great job with that defense down the stretch. What happens at the QB spot is the biggest question.

Do they even need him? They have Ohtani, Glasnow, Yamamoto and Snell, plus others behind them. Those 4 with Peralta would be an absolutely insane rotation. If the return is good, you cant really fault LA.

There's gotta be a cap at least, or otherwise it's basically pointless for the rest of the league if one team can just outspend everyone for anyone they want.

The talk with the next CBA will be rather rather interesting to say the least. I'm not sure of the penalties the Dodgers will face but i'm sure they can more than afford it.

Thats way less than i thought. Rosenthal said it's in the last 3 seasons. So it's still in the 50+ range in the CBT.

IF there's a cap, how would that come into effect for the Dodgers. Like how would all their highly paid players be on the team? Without looking, they're probably well in the 350 range. Like lets say you couldnt go over 250-270 payroll or less even.

Not sure how it'd work but you have to imagine there's gonna at least be a cap floor where you cant go over. Without even looking, their payroll is probably in the 350 range or more.

Im all for teams spending but what the Dodgers are doing is just stupid. 100 percent gonna be a lockout in 27.

I am glad he's gone from the division at least. He turns into Nolan Ryan against us. They do have some young pitching behind him though.

Pierce Johnson to the Reds per Heyman. We're probably done in the bullpen so thats fine.

Kinley and Lee in middle relief is more than fine. And tbd what Lopez's role will be until we see if AA can grab a SP or not.

Was reported they're planning on trying to extend his contract before the game. Or after the season of course.
