    Minor League Thread Part Deux

Man. I've seen video of his work outs and he's a strong kid. But 16-17 year old kids throwing that hard, tj seemed inevitable. His mechanics aren't bad either. The Braves Way? In all seriousness, it sucks but he seems to be a grounded, hard working kid. Hope he gets back on track.

I think Raudy Reyes had TJ surgery! Yep. Pic sent to me off the Gram....ugh. But that young..throwing that hard. Grrr

It was intimated to me that DF was dominating with two pitches so they've kept that as a focus. Makes sense. Out of the pen...probably the same thing. I'm sure he'll bust open the other two pitches in gwinnett, but he going to show them more I hope , but....maturity. He's been using his FB and...

Depending on the "kids" to stabilize a rotation is just as gutsy as depending on oft injured pitchers to stay healthy. We don't need to rehash the failure of AA to deftly make an SP pitching move during the FA period, BUT damn this feels like he's hiding something 😂😂😂

Tate is intriguing for sure. Seeing him at 2nd is what they'll probably do to a few of the SS prospects in order to get playing time and add versatility. With Tate, they've move his hands up higher and in the videos I saw in ST, he was stinging the ball. There have been glowing reports of...

I've seen him a lot. Eyeball tells me that the movement is there and when his secondaries are a threat, he's good. But for me, he's a next tier pitcher after CC, DF, JRR.

Maybe. Time will tell, but I was the first on the train and I'll be the last one off.

Time will tell. I think he'll be a starter long term. If he had to be in the majors now, the bullpen is a good call.

Still not a fan of Fuentes starting in the majors. He needs a little seasoning. Some time. It won't hurt to have him at gwinnett for starts. Sigh. Love the potential more than most, but damn

Dude needs health and games. Flashes tools....a lot of people are down on him...rightfully so, but I'll always champion him.

There's a lot of things wrong with DF's stint in mlb. It's also why he should have been down all year..but I digress. His stuff tracks better than a lot of pitchers who possess less. I think he's going to be legit, but I've beat that to death I guess.

Not even close thethe. It's not about AA being Nostradamus, but hedging your bets on established veterans is not a wrong answer no matter how much faith you put in the healing powers of medicine. ONE starter would have been better than relying on a litany of recovery projects. Come on now. We...

Conversely, anybody forming a strategy on “hope” is a loser. I have no issue with the sum of the core, but I’m not wanting to rely on the youth yet. They need to cook more. So yes.. I’m looking at it from a youth standpoint and a WS standpoint. AA has proven he’s not infallible, but I’ll give...

As I've said before, he doesn't need to be Strider (You're right in that Striders peak FB was special), because he has better secondaries than Strider. I have no idea why he doesn't throw his sinker /split more, but if I were the Braves, that would be my focus. I don't know the stats enough...
