    Minor League Thread Part Deux

It does seem to work better. Big swing and misses. Johnny Almaraz and Rolando Petit were our best international scouts. They found Acuna, Ozzie, Teheran. Smaller signings..big results. Teheran was the more expensive at the time.

It's amazing what 3 similar philosophies for drafting can do to a farm. I'll take three: Paul Snyder, Roy Clark and now Ronit Shah. Honorable mention Brian Bridges(Mike Soroka, Austin Riley, Ian Anderson, and Kyle Wright). Under Snyder, he preferred high schoolers who were good athletes...

8 There are some huge disagreements in there for me but their top 10 is jumbled as was mine. Neither here nor there with their list. I did say that it would take another draft and a few International players to hit to get to mid or more. But as long as they accumulate more HIGH END talent, a...

SS is his(Gil) best path forward to the bigs, but he's played 50 games at 3b in the minors...he's even played 1st. Nothing to read about either way. He's not the best SS in the system IMHO....but if that power is real, they'll find a spot.

I mentioned that he stressed me out at short. I'm more surprised because that was mentioned but I don't know if it's permanent or not.

DF just needs to be DF. I don't care that he's not Strider, he's going to be good as long as he gets the seasoning he needs and polishes his secondary pitches. What should excite us all, is that he has good velocity, his slider is good enough and he's not even using 2 other pitches that are...

I'll just say..this kid(Tornes)is something else. His exit velos and maturity are a welcome addition to the farm. Gil showing power elevates him significantly from a prospect perspective. He holds that this year, sky is the limit.

Love everything about that kid, but he's got a little Maitan in him personality wise. He's good. He knows it. He's a stud. But scouts..(a couple) think that he's a diva. I don't gaf..kid can do things we haven't seen in a while on a field. Just hope someone is in his ear about baseball in the...

Damn State...I do my best. Lmao. It's why I stick to the minors and bytch about the big team when you get me started. I blame you!😂😂😂

I'll fall on the sword on that. I think I remember Matt and I...probably Enscheff continuing to bemoan the loss of Bill. I don't revisit it though. In the end I always liked Murphy, but AA (while above average or whatever the thought is about him), has in my opine over the last 2.5 years at...

Oof. I like those kids...I wasn't envisioning their development at the major league level occurring so soon...but here we are.

Not that I care about anyone else's list, but I noted as have a few that his change up is developing. Still no reason for him not to be on the list. Confident that'll change so it shouldn't bother anyone.

I could be wrong but I'd guess AA apologists. I think you can like AA if that's your thing, but the last 3 years have been cringe worthy for AA. We've come to be known as a winning organization and that's true, but this reliance on HOPE is terrible. Speaking for me, I'd rather be ahead of the...

Not really Unc. The way the last few years have gone, we assume, think and know there will be injuries. However the 'hope' and 'pray' strategic angle employed by AA and company is complete bs. I'd rather you say we can only operate in xxx amount than to bs us with "we have money to spend" shyt...

Cool. Maybe by the time we get another one the "hope" strategy will have died.
