Awful. But, he should be back by the deadline.

    2026 : Around the League

Another interesting thing I didn't realize is that Cody Bellinger is putting together a pretty fantastic career after early injuries nearly derailed the entire thing. Among active players under 31, his 32.2 bWAR ranks 2nd, behind only Soto.

    2026 : Around the League

Also, while it's still pretty early and I expect him to rebound at least a little, the Dodgers may have made their first crucial mistake in the big contracts they've given out. Kyle Tucker is looking rough and pretty much all of his stats have taken pretty huge downturns. Lower EVs, increased K...

Dalton Rushing is now 5 for his last 29 with zero XBH's. Yet Dodger fans can't stop slobbering all over his knob.

I guess Riley must be blind and deaf since he's still hitting like dog shit.

Does Colorado have any more reclamation project RPs they'd like to donate to us?

    GDT 5-3: Braves-Rockies Game 3; 2016 Lineup is Back

The Pirates at least have an excuse for having an owner that won't spend any money. They have done an "ok" job of developing players since the turn of the century, but aside from Cutch, they haven't really kept anyone. The Rockies aren't the Dodgers payroll wise, but they have generally been a...

    GDT 5-3: Braves-Rockies Game 3; 2016 Lineup is Back

Rockies owners are notorious for meddling. They don't invest in player development either, and have virtually no foot print in the international market. If they were smart, they would build a dome and pressurize it to make the stadium play like a normal field. Instead, they stupidly locked...

    GDT 5-3: Braves-Rockies Game 3; 2016 Lineup is Back

Has anyone said that? I mentioned that Coors causes on average 4" more of drop on the 4 seamer. And in his rehab starts, he was averaging 17" of IVB. So I would expect the 4 seamer to improve his next start. As you love to say, the data is available to anyone.

I think the trash rolling across the outfield threw him off. It threw me off at first too.

    GDT 5-3: Braves-Rockies Game 3; 2016 Lineup is Back

Google says that 4 seamers drop 4 inches more on average at Coors field. Given that he was averaging 17" of IVB in his rehab stints, I am inclined to believe the FB should be much better his next start.

Not watching. 6 Ks for Strider seems good. But 5 BBs shows poor command. Was the stuff moving and he couldn't locate? Or was everything flat?

GDT 5-2 Sale listening to Dead Flowers…..Harris in the lineup

Harris sat at least a couple of times this season before the injury. Acuna got pulled late in a couple of games, but yeah it would have been nice to see him DH at least couple of times before now.

GDT 5-2 Sale listening to Dead Flowers…..Harris in the lineup

If they thought it was going to be 7 weeks or more, they would have 60 day IL'd him. That's 49 days and he'd need a week of rehab stints in AAA anyways.
