    GDT: 4/30 Respect your Elder

I didn't realize Framber Valdez could throw pitches that could defy the laws of physics. But here we are, watching a ball completely change it's trajectory 2 inches from the ground.

GDT: Tigers @ Braves 4/29 : Ritchie Rich Time

Freeman is still an elite 1b though, even if the production has fallen off. We'd still be better off with Freeman and the package of prospects we traded away, which could have been used to get a TOR starter like Pablo Lopez or Dylan Cease.

Yeah that's what fans do. I also talk shit about some of my coworkers to my wife at home. But I'm not about to go to work and start talking shit about them to my other coworkers.

Incorrect. Profar had 1 good season offensively at age 31. Laureano was younger, cheaper, and had a better track record of hitting. AA probably had a different plan that fell through and then he panic bought Profar. It was still an incredibly poor decision. Never double down on a bad move.

Cutting Laureano just to end up signing Profar was just an incredibly awful decision, even ignoring the suspensions.

Vaughn Grissom seems revitalized in LA. EVs are up to 88.2, which is around league average and by far a career high for him. He's squaring up the ball at an elite rate, taking BBs at an elite rate, and striking out at an elite rate. Hope he keeps it up. Red Sox fans must be in shambles.

He's an MLB starter regardless. Even last year's version of Strider is roughly a league average pitcher.
