Swanson/Riley/Olson have slumped the last two months and so has our offense. I think the answer is as simple as that. Pitching has been solid and the rest of the regulars have been about what they have all year with the exception of those 3 and then of course Grissom’s Babip regression.

Fact of the matter is if our 3/4 hitters don’t wake up we won’t be going very far in the playoffs. Olson has been garbage but Riley hasn’t exactly been playing even average for two months now as well. I thought today would have been a perfect day for them to sit but guess Snit knows best….

Wait I thought a certain someone from Miss said Acuna isn’t clutch and had never had an important hit? :) J/K State Glad to see some of the top of the lineup wake up. If we could ever get Acuna, Riley and Olson hitting at the same time we might be hard to beat in October.

What kind of a Braves fan says he’s thrilled to see Freeman outperforming Olson? I mean I understand wanting Freddie back but good lord your supposed to be a fan of the team. I hated the choice not to resign him but at the end of the day I’m rooting for Olson fo out perform Freddie.
