Jansen wasn’t great tonight but the main thing I’m taking out of this game is the fact Snit acually used his best pitcher in the 7th vs the two best players in the NL. I’m shocked he actually deployed Iggy and Minter properly. I still don’t understand how he can use them in a wasted game...

I’d DH Ozzie when he’s back and keep Grissom at second. Ozzie doesn’t have to play the field with his newly healed foot and we keep both in the lineup without sacrificing much defense. Next year either Grissom plays left or replaces Swanson if we don’t resign him.

Plug in Ozzie for Ozuna in both lineups when healthy and we have a lineup with lots of upside and the base running will be insane.

It would be but gotta keep in mind they have him for 2 more playoff pushes after this season. It’s why I didn’t hate much on the deal. They could end up trying to get back a prospect next season or the next at this time. I thought it was a pretty fair deal on both sides.

I agree. This is in all likelihood the best he will ever be. Why not cash in and get the most you can knowing you probably won’t replicate these numbers again? Idk if the Braves will pay him or not but I don’t think he settles for a one year deal.
