What did Sleepy Joe do in the last 2.5 years to end the WAR? But hey, at least he got Brittany Griner back amirite?

5/18 GDT: Schwellenbach, The Drake, and the Rested Bullpen in the Series Finale in Fenway

The 200 innings bit is probably ancient history going forward. The new 200 innings goal for pitchers is gonna be 150 innings.

If Owen Carey continues to hit, he's gonna fly up some lists by the end of the year, imo. He's looking like he might be a true 5 tool prospect. Honestly, if he gets promoted soon, you might see him playing CF more often. But with Drake on the same team, there is no way he's gonna get the most...

Yeah, White was a major leaguer long before he came to Atl. AJSS ( assume that is who you mean) has been a top starter so far, but it's a bit of smoke and mirrors. He's not gonna maintain a HR rate below 1 and his BB rate is still a bit too high. But he's a solid pitcher regardless, even if...

The only person getting their panties in a wad is the guy trying to argue whether a clear decline in velocity over several years from his peak velocity, isn't really a decline in velocity because.....reasons. As has been mentioned, there is a clear trend of declining stuff. From declining...

In Augusta, Owen Carey stays hot with another 2 hits on Sunday. Over his last 21 games, he is hitting .319/.398/.442 (.840 OPS). Isaiah Drake also has been on a heater over the last 8 days with a .923 OPS. He was a 5th round pick out of North Atlanta HS in 2023.

Man it would be pretty epic if Ozzie got things fixed. He's looked a lot better the last few games. Of course I said the same thing 2 weeks ago and then he went into the worst slump of his career, so what do I know? Harris has been hitting the ball hard, but his approach is still beyond awful...

Braves Claim Kevin Herget From The Mets

The only reason we went with Dodd instead of Kimbrel a couple days ago is Dodd's ability to work as a long man. I have a feeling that Strider, Acuna, and Kimbrel will all find themselves in Atlanta before we head to Philly next week.

Dude I don't know why you decided to start an argument about this, but his velocity literally has a downward trend since his peak. Not ticking back up into the same area. It's a clear and evident downward trend. And it's a significant drop this year. Take the L and move on.

I posted his rates and his velocity. Everything is in decline over the last couple of years coming into this season. And it's declined significantly more this year. He isn't close to the ace he was, and this year he has taken an even larger step back. With pitcher's, it tends to go downhill quick.

Over the previous 2 seasons, his ERA and FIP are almost identical. He was a 4.00ish ERA pitcher and now his stuff is declining further.

Dude, Nola is toast unless he can reinvent himself. Declining velocity, career high hard hit rate, career high EVs, etc.

Any details on Ryan Bourassa? 25 year old reliever in A+ with some eye popping stats. 0.66 ERA. 15.8 k/9, 2.6 bb/9, .732 WHIP.

That Nola contract predictably looks REALLY bad now. 5 years are 126.5 million remaining after this year and he currently sports a 6.05 ERA.

5/15: AJSS and the ROY batting second in the Business Man’s Special

I would love to see Kimbrel. Either way, I think Los Santos, Blewit, and Montero are playing for their jobs right now. Kimbrel will likely replace one of them soon enough.
