I mean either way, we agree on getting Swanson/Carmago ABs. That's really the key IMO. That could mean Carmago at 3B as well.

I don't like the idea of constantly yoking pitchers up and down, I'd let Newk pitch in the majors the rest of the year unless he just starts getting shelled like 8 ER in 2 innings type games.

I'm obviously not the first to suggest this.... but the correct answer IMO... .you trade Phillips, put Carmargo at 2B and leave Swanson alone at SS. That gives plenty of ABs to both Swanson/Carmargo and you need to trade Phillips anyway IMO, otherwise you lose his value in a non-playoff...

yea man, I agree. Certainly things I can quibble with and I still hope he trades BP/JG at the deadline. But he has put a decent product on the MLB in the first season of a new stadium without sacrificing any of best (second best) farm system in the game. Our future is really bright
