It’s way to early to talk about this but my guess is AA extends him for something like 2/40. Plus an option Year with a buyout. AA has been pretty good at getting value when extending guys.

I think the backup plan is resigning Donaldson. A lot of people here are dreaming about Rendon but those are just dreams. The Braves aren't shopping on the Rendon aisle of free agents. I really think we will see Donaldson as a Braves for the next 3 years playing on a series of one year high...

The Phillies have a really bad defensive outfield. Maybe that will help us out. I wonder if the Phillies thought they would get Harper when they signed Cutch. Seems like they would have been smarter to find a better defensive OF’er to pair with Harper and Herra.
