There really wasn't any reason not to give him a month or so to see if he could rebound. He didn't. It has been nearly three years since Ozuna was a productive MLB player. As soon as a roster spot is needed he needs to be DFA'd, regardless of the money committed to him.

My best chance of making it would be the September series. Maybe the weekend series in mid-August if my son decides to go to Furman instead of one of his other options.

Would love to do this, but due to other travel obligations this summer I probably won't be able to make it. If my son decides to go to Furman odds go up, at least if it's a later-season game. I'd be willing to help the boss with the dinner expenses, even if I can't be there in person.
